Southern California Newby

Hey Guys,
Although I've been an owner for about 6 months now, I just joined.

I bought a 1970 Coronado 27' about 6 months ago and have been working to get it back in shape since. Funny how much a $500 boat really costs!
Just wanted to find out what people thought of the Coronado's? As long as the rigging is in good shape I should be okay right? The hull isn't going to burst open the minuted I get out of the breakwater? I'm not going to Hawaii, Catalina, up to Santa Barbabra maybe.

Guess I should have asked these questions before I bought the boat.

Hey CS - welcome to SN dude. Several other Coronado owners around here. Just keep asking around - you'll get plenty of feedback.

Where are you located Scott, I've seen a couple of Coronado's sell around me lately. I'm in Wilmington with a Vega. Always nice to find another boat about the same speed.

Cap,
I'm down in Alamitos Bay with my Coronado 27. How do you like Wilmington? I'm sub-letting at a commercial dock right now and need to move after I get it painted in April. I'm thinking about Wilmington and San Pedro as no where in Long Beach has any space.

It's a bit of a slog to get outside from Wilmington, Pedro is closer............Email me for my honest opinion.
