Hey

Hows it going everybody? The names Eric, I'm 22yrs old living in San Diego, CA. I'm in the military and looking to get into sailing. I'm hoping to learn alot from these forums. Anyways, just dropping by to say hello.

also if anyone in the San Diego area is willing to let me tag along sometime I be more than willing to. In fact, I wouldn't mind cleaning the boat or whatever. I just would like to get out and experience it before taking ASA classes.

Hello, welcome, thank you for your service. You might find that some bases have morale boats. Also, post in the crew wanted section of this forum. There are many books on basic sailing, I learned that way (with practice, and mistakes of course). Look for opportunity, it's out there. You can make it happen, you won't be sorry.
