Hey I am new to this

Hola all,

Well, on a whim, I bought a West Wight Potter '19 a month ago. I have been working on it like a dog and I almost have it in ship shape. I am taking my first sailing lesson this weekend.

Any advise on anything????

Check your safety gear, and then check it again. Are you going out with an experienced sailor?

I am actualliy taking a ASA course with the Manhattan Sailing School over the weekend. Do I still need a experienced Sailor with me after the course?
