Hello,
I am Nathan from Columbia, SC.
I have been bit hard by the sailing bug. Been doing a ton of research lately, absolutely driving my wife crazy. We will be going out on a boat for the first time next week.
Hopefully this fall I will be getting ASA Basic Keelboat Certification if everything goes well with the wife next week.

Welcome aboard, Nathan! Sailing is like a metaphor for life generally. At times, you'll be exhilarated, and at times, you'll either be scared or bored stiff. You'll be shaked, and baked and tenderized, but you'll also be romanced and awed by the grandeur of nature. It will probably become a passion for you, as it is for us. Enjoy it!
