New to it all!

Ive always wanted a sailboat, just never really thought I'd be able to have one for a long time but I decided you only live once right? Might as well enjoy life as much as possible!!

Got my hands on a Balboa 24, decent shape, needs a little work and some love but I'm more than happy to oblige. Seems like the bug bit me hard because I can't stop looking and gear and tossing it on a "to-do" list. I'll post pictures soon, just getting it prepped to be put into the water.

Also as a question, how smart would it be to put money into the boat? Is it better to just enjoy it and save money for a newer/bigger boat? I had plans to have the interior redone after the summer season and make it a little more my own. This board is filled with great information! Thanks!

Welcome. If she floats and sails, sail first, upgrade later. you may change your mind about the boat or equipment after use.
