newbie to sailing

Just bought a 1966 Cal 25, hull # 310. I am new to sailing and it has always appealed to me ... so I thought I would give it a try. I have been on sailboats of friends and I remember the feeling of sailing.
I will no doubt have plenty of questions and I hope you can help. I have already arranged for sailing lessons!
Thanks,
John

Just keep going with it :-) There are too many good boats seldom visited in marinas. Better to be out there in a washtub than to keep a lovely sea creature all tied up, unused, at the dock 24/7/52 -- or even 50...

Learning to sail.

Thanks guys, I have been studying my boat, taking reference pictures and comparing them to other Cal 25 yachts. In my free time away from the boat I watch videos of sailing instruction. I hope I can pick this up quick, I wanna sail my Cal!
