Hey jo - welcome to SN dude. You'll like the place.

PS - Are the Maple Leafs as fast as they say? (9+ knots?!?!?)

I am looking at a MP 48 from the commodore yard in canada...same design as cooper but different yard....is there anything to be concerned over or look for? I know this is a cored hull and I am bringing a moisture meter to look for hot spots.....all comments welcome.

maple leaf 48

I have had some problems with blisters in the hull, but who does not in an old boat?, other than that it is a fantastic old sailboat , very seaworthy, and VERY comfortable for 4 people
