Ahoy from Harris the Narrows
Greetings and Salutations.
My home port has been Harris the Narrows, 30° 24' N / 86° 44' W.
I have enjoyed sailing since I was 10 and my Aunt gave me an O'Day 10 to row around the bay in, I discovered it had a hole in it. It was explained to me that the hole was for the mast. I was sailing her the next day. I have been an avid sailor ever since. I am currently purchasing a Victoria 18 and intend to have fun in the bays on her for years to come.
I do not own the vessel yet, so I do not feel it proper to post any photos. yet. She is a beautiful little vessel with classic lines and a what appears to be a great keel for the sandbars and shallows in the area.
