Ahoy from Port Charlotte, FL

With over 45+ years boating experience, I am almost embarrassed to say that I have never set foot in a sailing vessel, boat, surfboard, etc.

Thinking I will just lurk in the background here and pick up all the good and bad habits posted on this site.

Anyone here in the SW Florida area that would like to help us break our 45 year powerboat run, go ahead and PM me here. My wife an I are 50+ and willing to experience the power of wind with an experienced captain & crew.

Thanks
JOhn ><>

Placida

I just picked up my new boat (2001- new to me) in Placida and spent a couple of nights in Port Charlotte. Nice area. We sailed across the Gulf of Mexico to our home in south Mississippi.
