Caliber40129 is on a distinguished road
Hello all from Africa

I live in south Mississippi and work in Angola. My wife and I are proud, new owners of a 2001 Caliber 40 (hull number 129) and we're planning to go cruising when I retire in 12 to 18 months...I hope. We just sailed the boat home from Placida, FL two weeks ago crossing the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful trip until we got to a point 25 miles south of Pensacola and then we began to encounter the oil. It was ugly for the rest of the way into MS.

I plan to sail the Regata al sol in 2012 from Pensacola to Isla de Mujeres.
