Hello -

Just found your forums and am looking forward to digging and doing some reading. At the moment I am sailboat less having sold my Catalina-18 for a ski-boat ( kids made me do it, I swear ). Kids are headed to college and the ski boat is starting to get more spiders than water and I am looking to get back to a sailboat.

I have a dream of getting a trailerable boat in the 25' range ( currently thinking of a catalina 250, water ballast ). I have some other options but they mostly rely on leaving my boat 100+ miles away and driving to it on the weekends.

We are mostly looking to get something with enough cabin that we can use it for long weekends on any number of the large Kansas reservoirs ( perry, milford ) as well as heading up north to lewis and clark in south dakota.

So there it is.. my goal for the next year or so.

This weekend we are headed up to Lewis and Clark to checkout some boats and the marina.
