Newbie from MD's Eastern Shore

Hello all,

I'm new to this site, but definitely not new to sailing. I've been sailing since I was 9 (hmmm...makes it almost 40 years!), and have sailed a wide range of boats.

I've recently acquired a "free" Sailstar Explorer 17. It's complete with trailer, rig,, sails, and unfortunately, a rotten transom. I've done this work before and I should have it done shortly, but I'm currently looking for a reasonable source of marine plywood (wow, has it gotten pricey!). I also need to replace the standing rigging, but that shouldn't be a show-stopper.

Anyway, so here I am, just checking in and saying "HI!".

Looking forward to using what appears to be quite a valuable resource.
