Old boat, New owner

Hi all,
I bought DjY887's '81 Balboa Laguna 16 last October. I stumbled upon his post on this website quite by accident. I was interested in reading about the boat's history because I hadn't known about it before. DjY did a great job of restoring her. I had sailed a little '74 Sunfish ever since high school, but wanted to upgrade to a bigger boat. This little Balboa is perfect for me! I haven't been able to find much info on the boat. It seems there weren't too many made. Looking forward to sharing experiences and learning from others in the sailing community.
