Introducing myself ???

Okay, a little technologically challenged here (even though I once owned an Internet software development company -- I had brilliant young geeks doing all the work for me) but I'll give this "Introduce Yourself" a whirl.

I started off a stink boater in training, fishing with my Uncle out of an outboard on the upper Niagara River (more decades ago than I'll admit). Fell in love with sailing my third year of college when I crewed on a brand new 60' sloop on Long Island Sound with a guy I knew's parents. Then after college moved to Miami and learned to sail on Biscayne Bay with a "friend."

I currently own a 1995 Beneteau Oceanis 351 (bought it in 1994 new) and doubt I'll ever part with it. I also own a used (but in immaculate condition) 2005 Skagit Orca 24' solid as a rock fishing boat. And am looking at adding a larger sailboat to the "fleet." I just can't seem to bring myself to sell anything.

I joined because I'm looking at possibly purchasing a 1980 Cooper Maple Leaf 54. But that will be the subject of a different thread.

So that's me, hello out there to all of you.

Yes and never enough time to play with them as much as I would.
