New couple sailing south
We are just new to Sailnet. We have a Hunter 420 Passage sail boat and are planning our first trip south. We brought her north on the ICW from Ft Pierce to Havre de Grace in April. We are now planning on heading south for the winter with the goal being the Bahamas. We have heard that the best way to get there is in a flotilla. How do we connect with others that are making the trip? We were considering spending the Christmas holidays in the Keys and then heading for the Bahamas in January. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
