svTrekka is on a distinguished road
Moving up to a smaller boat…

Hello everybody. Just purchase a new (to me) sailboat. With the downturn in the economy I found myself without a sailboat for the last couple of years. I just recently broke down and purchased another boat. Not because of an upturn in the economy but because I couldn’t stand not sailing. My last sailboat was a Baba 35, my new (to me) sailboat is a Montgomery 15. I know; big difference in boat size but also a big different in outgo. I’m very happy with my Monty and when it comes to bang for the buck I’m getting a great return, sailing her about once a week on the Galveston Bay.

CalebD will become famous soon enough
Plenty of folks around that are happy with their Montgomerys. They may be small but they are a lot of boat for the size. Truly a 'pocket cruiser' sized boat with the advantage of being easily trailered.
I'd consider owning one at some point.
