New Member From Boston

Hi all,

I've been sailing most of my life, first in a dinghy and then in a Doughdish, a plastic Herreshoff 12.5, all in Buzzards Bay out of Mattapoisett. More recently I bought a Rhodes Meridian that I keep in Boston Harbor. So far is mostly been used for day sails, but we have aspirations for some New England gunkhole cruising and perhaps, someday, a larger boat and destinations further afield.

I am a newbie to sailing and don't currently have a boat but have been looking at an Ericson 25 that looks promising for inland sailing on two lakes nearby.

So I am trying to learn all I can about sailing and owning a trailer sailer. About two years ago went on my first sail out on the Chesapeake Bay wiht a friends 41 footer and was hooked.

I have enjoyed reading the forums to learn as much as possible.
