Lagoon Pond, Viineyard haven

I plan to spend some time next summer on the hook in Lagoon Pond, Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard.

1. Any recommendations as to anchorages in Lagoon Pond?

2. Is there a dingy dock/beach that would give me access to down town?

3. Any other recommendations/experiences in Lagoon Pond will be appreciated.
