Just found this forum, and glad to be aboard... seems like a ton of great information.
Just ended my second sailing season on "SPIRIT", my "69" 25.5' Pearson Ariel, moored off of Pope Island New Bedford from March til November.
I just had her pulled out on Tuesday, and can't wait til March comes back around.
I had sailed as a young man with an uncle on his 28' Columbia, in Narraghanset (sp?) Bay... had fallen in love with sailing back then, just never had the ability to get my own till recently.
well,... just sayin' hey and a Happy Thanksgiving to all.

We have a similar history, it sounds. And similar size boats. Mine Ericson 25+, got it last year and have had one season. Mooring on the other side of Pope Island from you in Cozy Cove. Had a good summer in and around the islands. Name of boat is Promises. Will see you around the harbor.
