New Member and New Boat Owner
great site. learning a lot!!
i just bought a 2011 Beneteau 34 with two friends and am having a blast. My experience is mostly with small boats (J-24 and Melges racing for a season and I own a laser that I fool around with every once in awhile). This is my first "performance cruiser" so i am learning a ton. Just took her in to get a chartplotter and radar unit installed. Having a blast sailing her in the SF Bay Area. Already been to West Marine 3 or 4 times!!!
The boat is a perfect "Bay" boat for this area and the family loves it (i have 4 kids!). Who knows, if the family really falls in love with it, maybe i can convince them why our next boat should be an Oyster 46!!!!
