Question outboard for tender

I need to buy a new outboard for my tender, the old one was "borrowed" and the dingy trashed. what is the best model, the cheapest the most fuel efficient the most environmentally friendly and the quietest. I am in the Bahamas atm, so I guess that I will have to get the best that i can here! any suggestions? I need to repair the dink has anyone tried the solution you insert in through the valve, also has anyone tried the two part paint/ I need advice. please, an aussie in the Carribean

2-cycle outboards are cheaper and lighter, but the 4-strokes are quieter and more "environmentally friendly". I'm very pleased with my 5hp 4-stroke Honda. Take care and joy, Aythya crew

T37Chef will become famous soon enough
To get a good answer you really need to provide more info...size of tender, inflatable/hard, etc...

That said, I have a Tohatsu 9.8hp Four Stroke. At 80+ lbs you'll need a lift but its quiet, efficient, and has just enough power to get our 9' Achilles RIB with two adults and two children on plane.

Mercury and Nissan are essentially a Tohatsu without all the bells and whistles, I good thing IMO and a higher price tag
