How to Search

ok folks, a bit of frustration here. What am i doing wrong. I try to do some simple searches and the result brings up eveything but what I want.

Is there a trick or a thread that I can go to.

I get better results by going to google and then have the sailnet result show up in a google search. What gives...

Any moderator willing to way in on this.

Many many thanks.

Regards, Searchless in Seattle

Not a moderator, but the V-bulletin search is not so good. I generally use google.

Yeah, sorry... the search engine here is not all that useful. As WS indicates, though, Sailnet hits come up pretty early on a google search.

One good aspect of the search function (be sure you're searching forums and not the store) is that the search terms show up red so you can find the reference pretty quickly. I've had reasonable luck looking for particular users but searching for topics is a bit less accurate.
