MessingAboutinSoFL is on a distinguished road
Greetings to you from me

New member here. I just found the forum after finally meeting my personal cruising here, Bill Dietrich on Magnolia. I have read Bill's blog for years and finally got the chance to got meet him and take him to lunch.

I'm still a member of the powerboat family but have my eye and hopes on a little 25' Seaward, with a collapsable mast so I can get under the three bridges between my canal home and the Gulf. I hope to one day have a 40' and cruise the Carribean like my mentor, Bill.

For now I cruise and fish Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf Islands along the ICW near Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte, FL on a Seamaster 26' WAC. I have a little blog of my own you can find by searching Messing About in South Florida. After I've posted a few times here, they'll let me add links. Take care and happy sailing.

Bill S
