Doffer

Hi everyone, my name is John Severn my wife and I normally live in Turkey but we have just purchased a Rogger 35 named "Doffer" (I am told this is dutch for weigh anchor and good bye). She is a lovely boat but has been very little used over the last five years so a lot of maintenance to be carried out to sail and be safe. We are currently living aboard in Tarragona, Catalunya, Spain with plans to take her to Turkey at the beginning of Spring/Summer. We would welcome any advise or comments from anyone who has completed this journey. We have on board a Garmin 2010C plotter with a western med data card but nothing else. So if anyone has a middle or eastern med card suitable to this model we would welcome the opportunity to acquire it. If anyone else is considering a similar travel plan and our anticipation is to depart approximately mid March with a view to being in Turkey approximately four weeks or so later. Best wishes.
