Hello World!

We are a young family of three. Now taking action to sell all our landlocked junk and jump "aboard"!! I am 29, worked for myself, and grew up on the water; she is 32, very adventurous, and is my muse, our son is 8 going on 28, learns faster than can be taught and is just full of life.

We would like to say Hi to the new community we can't wait to be a part of. We would like some advice or info on full time liveaboard groups. The kind that live "on the hook" and cruise around together. We are headed to Miami this weekend for the Sailboat Show and can't wait to go boat shopping. Hope to make friends with other cruising families soon.

Hey eric - welcome to SN dude.

There's tons of info on here - as well as many, many salts that will talk you through just about anything.

While you're waiting for some responses you can start poking around in this thread: The Salt's Corner Table

It's a thread with some of the best info to some of the most asked questions around here - including yours. And you can see who some of the go-to guys are.

Enjoy.

Hey you're the couple I've been looking for. I have just the boat in USVI
I did what you are contemplating. Bought a boat in St. Thomas took two kids out of school and cruised the Carib.
Kids are grown, boat is still there, I just got back from six weeks. I can send you some nice pics just email me Bob followed by the @ sign, Rivard.net
I can give you a big lowdown, thirty years on....
