Hello

Hi, I just thought I would take some time and introduce my self. I am from Ames Iowa and am a memeber of the Iowa State University Sailing Club. It probably goes with out saying that the club is small and pretty under funded. However, we do have several boats, mostly small 14' and under laser type boats. We also have one larger, a Spirit 6.5.
I wanted to join this forum and introduce myself because this is the summer I am going to learn to sail, so I thought if I have any questions or problems I can reference the group. I'm looking forward to learning a lot about sailing and using the resources here.
Thanks a lot!

An Iowa sailor! Cool.

I have a lot of family in Pella.

Welcome to SailNet, and hope you have a blast sailing this summer!
