Hellow sailnet, my name is Cody hale, I am 55, and I am not yet a sailer, however I have had a life long dream of doing so. For the last thirty years I have only dreamed of such a comunity. I have been in love with the idea of sailing since before I can remember. I am looking for any opertunity to sail to anywhere in the world. I will work as a deck hand in exchange for the experience of saleing and the wisdom needed to one day maintAne and sail my own boat.

Welcome to the asylum. I can't help you with crewing but I can say "Just do it! Boats of a manageable size can be purchase pretty reasonably. Maybe a 20 foot day sailer or pocket cruiser for $2000. Probably need a little elbow grease but a great first love. We bought ours two years ago with no sailing experience at all. We now sail every available weekend. We aren't getting any younger. Just make the dream happen!
