Namaste ya'll

Hey,

I'm looking for a crew to sail with for July '11. I have little experience on sunfish. Had a chance to take a class in small sailboat operation in Florida.

I'm a 36 yo mama (solo for the summer). Would like to spend July sailing, and or surfing. In past years I've been a camerwoman and lighting designer (scaffolding and rigging no problem). I spent my childhood in a camper (mom was a hippiieee!) and I built a small abode (150 sq.ft) that i lived in with my two hijas for a while. Also lived out of a camper for two summers.

Pretty much I'm versatile, love to cook and eat yummy, love a bad joke, and am committed to a task.

Hablo un poco espanol, y je parle un peu de francais (iPhone not offering accent marks, lo siento).

Other than that I enjoy yoga, dance, playing music and enjoying life.

I'm not a big drinker or 'partier' but I do care about quality time with quality folk. Not looking for a 'date' just want to join a good crew.

If you know of anyone looking for an extra pair of hands on deck, I'd be grateful for the referral. I do have a small stipend, so trade/no pay is cool.

Many thanks n'namaste,
mahatmama

Shameless self-promotion - my blog for the Annapolis Capital newspaper is moving to a new location:

but there are still some glitches to be worked out. Until then, I'm posting at:

thanks for the shameless promotion. Congratulations on the 5 yr anniversary. I'll keep an eye out for your blog. Looks like your out of my old stomping grounds (I'm a rare D.C. native). Annapolis is a one of a kind community for sure.

If you hear of anyone looking for solid hands, with good work ethic, please let me know.

Buen Suerte,
mahatmama
