F/U on "RR" sail (Rhodes Reliant and Picnic 17)
I heard from Ben Stavis, a true "Rhodes" scholar. The net is that it is not a Rhodes Reliant sail at 100 sq. ft. with a RR and 69 on it.
I did find the sail mfg. patch; "Boston, Mt. Clemens, MI." A sailmaker founded by Harold and Lolly Boston in the early 1920's. Boston is now a part of the Doyle Boston family of sailmakers. There are three members of the Boston family on the Doyle web site as contacts. I e-mailed "Spike" Boston and will post any new info.
