Hello from Western TN

I am new to sailing, as we just bought a 27' Luger (It was the only decent boat in our price range and for the size we wanted) that we plan on sailing in the TN River and Pickwick lake areas. With a little luck our kids will love it also, whether they like it not Eventually towards retirement, our plans would be to switch to blue water, and a better boat. Anyone else here that plays in this area?

Hey frank - welcome to SN dude. You'll like the place.

I have a C27 and a couple of young kids who like sailing. So you're in for a good time.
