Ready and looking for advice for new adventures

Let me introduce myself. My name is Bill I have 3 kids daughter off to college. 2 boys 10 & 13. I have the wife and family on board with the sailboat idea. Pilot furloughed 2 years ago. Just hired by an airline out of Ft. Lauderdale. Own a bar/restaurant, for sale by the way. Wanting to try the live aboard for a year before buying a house. Grew up on boats some sailing chartered a 41 ft Morgans 3 times once with a Captain. We just sold our 33 ft Motor home. We have traveled for months in the rv and loved it. At 44 we are ready for the last adventure and memories with the kids. I enjoy the researching and found this website very helpful. Looking for help with marinas that will allow live a boards. We are looking in the Stewart Juno Beach area or Naples area both are with in 2 hrs off Ft. Lauderdale. Any advice on boats and locations would be helpful. Last question am I crazy. I just finished walking the strip in Las Vegas on an over night and would rather be sitting in the middle of the ocean watching the sun go down with my family.
