Hi, I'm a "mature" male, single, aged 64-soon to retire. Have been planning the purchase of a cruiser sail boat for 10 years and have been sailing for the past 30 years but not long haul. As I live 700 miles inland from the Pacific
havn't had too much time to look closely but thank God for the internet.
Will keep watching this site. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I have always wanted a 38' ketch. Thanks.

Wow, planning your purchase for 10 years? That is a very looooong planned purchase! We planned our first boat for about three months, and then started looking. Had a starter boat within a few weeks.

Anyway, glad to see you here. If you have 30 years of sailing here and there under your belt, I'm sure you have a lot to share. Welcome!
