Greetings from a Landlocked Candian in China

I'm a Candian teaching in China but my heart is really in finding a sustainable way to live. I think sailing comes close to matching this lifestyle. I have little to no experience but I'm always willing to learn.

If you or anyone you know of is looking for crew in SE Asia let me know (though I've seen several others posting from SE Asia and it doesn't look promising).

Look its not that I have any specific experience wih this but it seems to me that an internet Sailing Forum is simply not the right place to be asking, or at least not one that has a lot of world cruisers on its books.

If I were to be looking for a crew position I'd be hanging out on the waterfront, posting messages on yacht club message boards, talking to people off the boats.

Or you might find something here ...

Free sailing and cruising crewfinder (crew wanted) listing by CruiserLog for yachts and offshore ocean boats.

Welcome from a Western Canadian to a very Eastern Canadian.

Years ago I met a Kiwi who lived in Hong Kong and sailed out the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. They had a very active racing program.

Seconded - my local club has an ex member who sails with them. China's a big place - whereabouts are you?
