I'm in Boston and know absolutely nothing about sailing, but I'm told you eat an elephant one bite at a time, so I'm starting here.

First step ... if on a budget, join CommunityBoating Community Boating, Inc - Boston , if not, take classes at BlackRock Black Rock Sailing School in Boston Harbor, MA then join the club and sail the Harbor 20s.
