Cat-22 Eastern Ohio
My name is Josh. My GF and I purchased a 75' Cat 22. We have spent most of the spring working on her getting her ready to take out and yesterday was our first day on the water with her. Its an amazing feeling seeing that red diamond c 22 lifted and the main fill with air
One thing I did not expect during our training on flying scott's is that when we tack in the C22 the jibb comes over with so much force over the bow that it turns the boat with out any care of which way the rudder is positioned.
Are we suppose to leave the jibb sheet slack until the main fills with air and then trim? Would that stop us from losing control when tacking?
