New owner/Old Boat

Just bought our first boat- 1985 Cabo Rico 38 Hull #97. Plan on sailing SE coast of Florida for the next couple of years. Looking forward to lots of good advice here.

1985 may not qualify as "old", particularly for a vessel as fine as your Cabo Rico. The state of florida won't recognize it as "old" until 2015 when you can apply for nominal cost antique vessel registration. If you sail up to New England you'll find they don't consider a boat old if it's less than 100! Welcome and we'll be waiting to hear of your adventures. Take care and joy, Aythya crew
