I guess I should introduce my self officially since i've been hanging around here a lot.
I work on power systems and electronics. I am on the newer side of being an owner. Though I have been on lots of ships, ports around the world, and much time at sea. I started sailing little over a decade ago and was hooked. for the most part deckhand and co pilot running circles around the bay. when i had some free time, i took some sailing classes. I have now owned Contessa almost a year. She is a Bristol 29 and was a bit of a fixer upper and, of coarse, still a work in progress. I spend 90% of my time single handing(well with my 4yr old son). In a few years I will retire and hope to have enough experience and knowledge to be comfortable to circumnavigate.
I look forward to learning more from this wealth of knowledge and from all the seasoned old salts out there.
