Sailors Stuck in Afghanistan

My wife and I are both currently in Kabul, Afghanistan. Not a heckuva lot of a sailing community here in this country. Hell, this is the land where rivers go to die. But thanks to the 'intertubes' I can at least escape a little.

I'm 44, she's 33. I am a soldier. She is a diplomat. We both write. We both sail. Our homebase, for the next few years, is the UK.

Anybody know of anything in the Med, or anyone doing a late Atlantic Crossing in February?

Hi, kr3728,
you didn´t say when exactly you want to sail in the Med. I could give you some good hints for a pleasant sailing week in Croatia, but wouldn´t recommend this after middle of October or before middle of April.
