Getting underway!

Hello, Adrian Bassett here.
I grew up, and now live on a smaller inland lake in S.E. lower Michigan. I am an experienced boater, but nearly all my history is with power vessels. I've never sailed anything bigger than an O'Day 17, and that has bothered me more and more the past few years, as I've always preferred sailing to motoring.
My main intention for joining this board is to find crewing opportunities in the Detroit - Port Huron area, as a means of gaining larger-boat experience. And, obviously, to draw on the experiences of other members if/when the time comes for purchasing a vessel or equipment.
I look forward to meeting some folks and getting on the wind. If you're in the area, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am young, fit, and have lots of time available for maintaining boats (I don't believe in free rides )

I also make delicious sandwiches and believe in hoppy beer hahaha
