Hey everyone, my son just bought a 1973 30' Newport MkII. Lots of cosmetics to do to it over then next year! Looking forward to finding lots of great information here on projects.

Another good site to look at is the Plastic Classics forum.

What kind of engine does it have?

Congratulations on the new boat. Looks like a nice boat for sure. The cosmetics and upgrades will keep you busy for along time. Make sure to make time to enjoy her on the water. Best of luck with her.
