Finally posting....

I've been here and a lot of other sites reading and learning. After a year plus of looking we finally bought a boat. We are on it at the lake every weekend bobbing about hoping for wind.

So the adventure has begun, and we are loving it.....

Welcome to Sailnet!

If you still enjoy sailing while bobbing around, you're hooked. It takes skill to move forward when there is no wind. It's also a good time to inspect the rigging, eat lunch, amuse yourself, review your life.

Have fun!

So Donna-
How come you're hiding behind that big guy in your new avatar?
You ought to at least give yourself equal screen space.

I hate having my picture taken. John's there to distract the eye away from me. But that picture was taken in Key West and we had a fantastic time so it brings back good memories every time I look at it. It was taken at Mallory Square and I think I was a bit toasted at the time or I wouldn't have sat still for the picture.
