New to Sailing in San Diego

Hi all - joined a sailing club late last year and found my new passion. I had never sailed before so I was a little nervous and intimidated at first, but it has turned out to be a great adventure. I have meet some amazing people and find I am really in my zone when I am out on the water.

I do not own a boat (yet) and am content for the moment crewing for friends. Really just taking it all in. Anyhow, I have a trip to Catalina slated for early Sept, I have been helping with some local Beer Can Races - and WOW is all I can say. I live in a great city for sailing and looking forward to meeting more sail firends. Might see me chime in on some other forums with some dumb questions here and there as I am learning the lingo, etc. Glad I found this site as I was googling sailing to Catalina.
