You folks have an interesting and informative group.I am a 65 yr old man who still sails often currently a C&C 36 in S Fl.looking to upgrade to a larger open water boat for a crossing,last wishes that kind of thing.

Has to be, because 40 is the new 30...

Last wishes? geesh. The heck with that, only as old as you feel. Do it, do it now, have fun doing it (come back here and brag about it)... What are you requirements? some can cross in a cork, others think at 120 footer is too small to try it.

You've been sailing long enough what would you want for amenities on the boat?
