am retired general building contractor who has been livihg on dirt and sailing pipe dreams too long.....new boat build in the pipeline...

thanks to wandering star. no tease, just a senior moment. on the drawing board-- modified st pierre dory of plywood. planned as a junk rigged yawl. early on i developed a bias for dory boats and plywood. i'm not lazy, just like the way a dory handles and have a lot of respect for plywood. i am in san diego, ca

Thanks! I own a sailing dory, an 18'8" Swampscott type, yawl rigged, mostly open. I've done a little building, more repair. If you can post images, I'd be interested to see your design.
