New to sailing

Hi from Ann Arbor. We just purchased an used Interlake class sailboat. The wife and I are going to take lessons on sailing. Thought that we would jump right in, besides the price was right. We are planning on trailering for the first year to local lakes as well as lake Erie. Then after that we will consider joining a club.

Welcome, joining a club is a great way to meet others and get onto bigger boats.

One lady who walked into our club and said, "Anyone need crew?"

Has sailed with us in Florida, the Keys, Bahamas, St Lucia, Grenada, BVI, England and France on boats from 31 to 55 ft

Sailors love crew who help clean up and help fix things.

Good luck and I hope to see you cruising the world sometime.

Phil
