Hi, I am Brian. I’ve been browsing around here for a bit now, figured it was time to introduce myself. This site has been an invaluable resource for me. Much thanks to everyone for taking the time to share their wisdom, it is greatly appreciated.

I just bought my first boat this September, a 28 Cape Dory. I recently moved to the Baltimore area. I’ve got a lot to learn but am already getting antsy thinking about getting out the Chesapeake this spring.

Yes, I have the same name the previous owner had on her, Luciana. I thought about changing it but I don't want to mess around with the sea gods. And Luciana isn't such a bad name anyway.
