Hello Everyone

I've been sneaking in to read the forums from time to time. but, now that I have finally have my "baby" I thought it best to go legit and register......because I'm sure looking forward to receiving advice on certain subjects from experienced members as I sail off into the Blue Yonder.
My name is Wolfgang and I have an incredibly patient wife of 22 years named Terri.....
We have recently became proud owners (well, I am...Wifey is not too excited) of a 72' Frers Ketch (S/V Lindisfarne), although she was really badly neglected by her previous "owner" the old girl (1980) will be just fine once I get her down to Trinidad and on the hard in Chagauramas.
We actually departed Ft Lauderdale in late June, but, due to serious issues developing (ruptured Fuel, Water Tanks and a multitude of other serious episodes we finally said enough was enough and limped into Puetro Plata in the DR.
So, we've had a lot of work done by the kind people here, costing an absolute fortune in shipping items into the country......
Anyway, She's (Lindisfarne) is good to go for the rest of the trip.

Sounds like you are off to a fine start

You'll find lots of experienced sailors here willing to give advice.

Not me of course.

Welcome aboard

Hello Vega,
I sure had 'fun' getting the boat this far, but, the way I look at it is that it can only get better.....right?
Looking forward to asking some really dumb questions and getting the helpful answers.enjoy Xmas.
