Another Canuck

Greetings

I have been a member for awhile lurking the site and gleening all sorts of great information. I have been boating\sailing since I was 12. (9 if you include the raft I built which sank on its maiden voyage). We hail out of Kingston Ontario Canada on a 1967 Hinterhoeller HR 28. This old girl (the boat not my wife) was in need of much work and your site has been a great source of information, inspiration and advice. When the boat was purchased, We sailed the boat 75 miles home. The engine died 5 miles into the journey. Undaunted, we sailed the remaining 70 miles engineless. That was 4 years ago and we have remained ardent engineless sailors since.

Again thank you

Another Canuck...great :) I sank a wooden feed trough as a little kid on it's maiden voyage. My brothers and I found it in an abandoned chicken coop...thought it would make a great boat, instead it just got us wet.
