Newbie to Sailnet and loving it!

Hi Everyone,

I have been chatting and cruising the Forums for a little while now. I love sailing, love chatting about sailing and reading sailing stories! Also love the nonsense that chatters can get all het up about here! (You know who you are!) LOL! Still looking for my tiny little boat. Want to get a Snark Sunflower, don't know it? Check out my avitar.

who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night,
who stirs up the sea so that its waves roaró
the LORD Almighty is his name:

We cannot direct the wind,
But we can adjust our sails...

Welcome aboard! Small fast boats are surely the most fun for pure sailing, and a great way to refine skills. I usually sail a heavy boat, but I own a couple of lighter ones for thin water. My favorite is a Melonseed skiff. I love sailing in salt marshes where I can see the shadow of the sail on the bottom. Fair winds!
