Hello everyone,

Been lurking for awhile and gleaning info. Decided to finally jump in. Attempting to resurrect an 81 US Yachts 25 swing keel. Not new to sailing, but this the first I can call mine. Was given to me (family connection and not entirely bad boat), so thus far not a penny in it. Have sailed it this season and performs flawlessly. Well balanced and rather quick for a little pocket cruiser. The initial plan was to sail it till I broke it as the price was right, but the decision has been made to actually dump some time and money in it and make her a respectable craft. Major issues are interior (cushions are fine, but structural issues as rot is prevalent due to water and substandard materials from factory). In dire need of a bottom job, and while out thinking of giving her new color. Anyway, hoping to make some connections and get good advice.
